Annual Sabah Retreat

The annual Himalayan Yoga Science Society Sabah Retreat took place 25th - 27th November 2016.

Himalayan Yoga Science Society Sabah (HYSSS) is an AHYMSIN affiliate center in Malaysia.

Datuk Rajah Indran, who advises HYSSS and is a mantra initiator and a member of the AHYMSIN Adhyatma Samiti,


25 people participated.

Fuku-san from Japan assisted Datin Judy Rajah with hatha. Fuku Iida, centre leader of Himalayan Yoga Meditation Society of Tokyo, “has been teaching Yoga for the last 31 years and is now a very passionate Yoga and Shiatsu teacher.”

The venue and facilities, Nuluhon Garden Retreat House, were suitable for our purpose. Nuluhon Garden is a private retreat house set within a 7-acre fruit orchard surrounded by nature and away from city hassle; it provides facilities such as a spacious multi-purpose hall, breezy dining hall, comfortable rooms as well as a refreshing cool water rock pool.

Two ladies from Kuala Lumpur requested and received initiations.

Everyone participated actively in the workshops, meditation and hatha sessions.

The President Venugopal and Nallayan also led in warming up exercises.
