HYT-TTP Newsletter

Dear Himalayan Tradition family members,

We hope you and your loved ones are well and managing with all the changes that COVID-19 has created. As we look toward 2021, we are considering how best to serve you. Each year we have traditionally held a TTP retreat at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG) in March and November. This year we were just able to complete our March retreat at Sadhaka Grama a few hours before the beginning of the Indian lockdown.

Our March retreat was one of our largest we ever had, with 26 level 1 students from 9 countries and 29 level 2 students from 10 countries, including large groups from Taiwan and Thailand.

As November drew closer without foreseeing that the situation would be back towards something normal, we had to accept the fact that we wouldn’t have the possibility to hold our November retreat this year. Nevertheless, we are still working very hard to continue to serve you in the best possible way, planning our retreats for next year.

In August 2021, if the Covid-19 related restrictions are lifted and the travel situation becomes normalized, we are considering holding an in person Teacher Training retreat in Edmonton, Canada, at the beautiful Providence Renewal Centre.

Of course, this is dependent on whether the pandemic issues have been resolved. We will take a final decision in early 2021. We would still like all students who would like to continue with their next TTP level or would like to begin their TTP studies and who would consider joining a retreat in Canada next August to manifest their interest as early as possible, so that we can determine if we have sufficient positive response to continue our planning. Given the issues are resolved, we would like to get an indication as to how many students would be interested in attending either a 600-Hour Level One/200-Hour Training or a 600-Hour Level Two Training.

If you are interested in attending the Edmonton, Canada retreat, please send an email to: info@himalayanyogatradition.com. You can also write to us at this address to inquire about our programmes and for all questions related to your TTP studies. We are waiting to hear from you.
We are looking forward to meeting you again in person, hopefully sooner than later. In the meantime, we wish you progress in the depth of your sadhana and we hope that all of you will remain healthy and safe.

In Loving Service,

HYT-TTP Administration
