Navaratri Celebrations

The Navaratri, literally meaning the ‘nine nights’ are a sacred celebration dedicated to the Mother Divine. It is celebrated twice a year to mark the beginning of Spring and Fall.
We, the residents at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG), will join with akhanda (non-stop) recitation of Lalita-sahasra-nama (Thousand Names of Divine Mother) for nine days and nights during this special celebration from October 7-14, 2020. These events are charged with special spiritual energy and are a very special time to renew your silence and sadhana.
While we know, many of our AHYMSIN Global Sangha members are unable to join us physically at the ashram, we miss your presence during this auspicious time at the ashram.
As Swami Ritavan Bharati has written, “We feel the abundance of blessings of the Mother Divine is available everywhere equally and I pray that you continue to feel her loving, gentle, and serene presence in your hearts at all times.”
