Yoga Is Skillfulness in Action ~ “Yogah karmasu kaushalam”

When we think of yoga practice, we generally talk about practicing postures, breathing exercises, etc. However, the ancient teachings of yoga also greatly cover the practical applications of yoga in our day-to-day activities.
One of the definitions of yoga in the Bhagavad Gita is “Yogah karmasu kaushalam” – “Yoga is skillfulness in action”. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us how we should engage in actions in a manner that can facilitate our ultimate good, while interacting in this world.
In this workshop, we will learn to evaluate the effect of our actions in our life, and assess whether they lead us toward bondage or liberation.

About the Teacher:
Rabindra Sahu is a teacher in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, based at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG) ashram, Rishikesh. Introduced to the Indian philosophy at an early age, Rabindra has been teaching at SRSG and traveling within India and overseas for outreach programs for many years. He is deeply devoted to study of ancient scriptures and believes in experiential understanding.
