You and Your emotions
This retreat is based on Swami Veda Bharati’s profound teachings contained in his book of the same title. We will learn to understand our own mind and thereby to learn how to live life by effectively managing and refining emotions to obtain true freedom.
Swami Veda Bharati has said, “You not only learn to analyse your own emotion, but also learn to analyse the other person’s emotion: where is it coming from, what are its components, what has led to this, what are the loads behind it? And once you understand the loads behind it, you will not react in the familiar way: anger with anger, stone with stone, eyes with eyes.”
In this retreat with Dr Divya Gupta and Dr Swati Saharan, both psychologists by training, we will approach the subject of our own mind and emotions from a practical perspective and learn to gently manage them better.
