SUMMARY:Guru Purnima: A Prayer to the Guru
DESCRIPTION:ॐ गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुर्गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः।\nगुरुः साक्षात्परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः \nOm gurur brahmā gurur viṣṇur gurur devo maheśvaraḥ\,\nguruḥ sākṣāt paraṁ brahma tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ. \nOm. To that beautiful and benevolent Guru who is Brahmā\, the Creator\, Viṣṇu\, the Maintainer\, and Śiva\, the Great Lord through whom all things return to their origin. To that Guru who is the direct experience of Brahman\, salutations. \nLet us delve deep into the meaning of the Guru Prayer on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Our Gurudeva Swami Rama has written\, “This day of Guru Purnima is a great day of delight\, celebrated with reverence to the noble heritage of spiritual knowledge. It is the day that makes the aspirant aware that the light of knowledge is everflowing and overflowing internally and externally both.” \nIn this satsanga with Rabindra Sahu\, let us get together on this special occasion and pay homage to the Guru Lineage.
