To continue with the May TTP and workshop event, AHYMSIN Taiwan held a workshop with the vibrant Wolfgang Bischoff on 22nd and 23rd of September. For the local family members and friends who are so used to our regular asana, breathing awareness and meditation practice, Wolfgang sure expands their horizon once again to the different aspects of yoga. The workshop was a short two-days, but with abundant harvest. Wolfgang shared from his rich experience the seven steps of preparation to help the participants in learning to prepare themselves for a deep and concentrated meditation practice. The systematic and comprehensive steps helped veterans and newcomers alike to be more focused and relaxed in their meditation. People were introduced to the language of their hearts and were overwhelmed with the energy and power within themselves. A nurse who suffered the longest time because of her compassion towards the patients received blessing by facing with her fear and embracing it. When Wolfgang invited all the participants to freely join the embrace, all participants rose from their seats and joined. The room was filled with such energy that many people were touched to tears. Wolfgang also used a few simple shapes to help in interpreting the characteristics of the participants. He guided people to find their hidden longings, tasks and the measures they will need to take in order to achieve the goal. Many participants told us that they were very surprised to find out these things about themselves. This simple test gave them a new prospective in life, helping them to begin with the reconstruction of their lives. As our last experience of inviting the hearing impaired people to join us for the workshop, we extended our invitation for these friends to join us again in this workshop as well. Wolfgang’s loving teaching also touched the hearts of these friends and even their sign language translators. We were very happy to see that these friends were also willing to share with us their personal feelings as brought out by the practice in the workshop. In addition to the two days workshop, personal consultation service was also provided, this time for people to have a private consultation session with Wolfgang. Interesting enough, before the workshop, there were only a few persons signed up for the consultation; after the workshop, the consultation hours were fully booked. People approached Wolfgang with their personal issues at home and in their spiritual pursue. We were very happy to learn that everyone find the consultation hour most helpful. Now that our local friends have met with Wolfgang and understood what he has been working on, we are certain that more people would be benefitted from the loving service of Wolfgang.
