ONE

29th May was the annual day of fasting without water. This is the hottest season but millions undertook that fast.

One and a half million people took a holy dip in Ganga at Haridwar.

TWO

In these times of ISIS, Al Qaida, Taliban, 9/11 and 26/11 here is news from India.

A Hindu owned company in Mumbai refused employment to a Muslim on religious grounds.

All India Muslim League made a response. They passed a resolution stating:

We will follow the Gandhian method. For every one Muslim who is refused a job on religious grounds the Muslim companies will give jobs to ten Hindus.

How is that for awakening conscience of those who discriminate!

THREE

As you must know by now that 21st June is International Yoga Day as declared by the United Nations with the approval of 177 nations.

In Delhi there is a sacred spot known as Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. On forthcoming 21st June, Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of one and a quarter billion Indians (one-sixth of the World’s population) will perform Yoga and Pranayama in a public gathering at Raj Ghat.
