Annual Day Celebrations 2015

by HYMC Noida

Our humble offering at the Lotus feet of Gurudev Swami Veda Bharatiji

With the grace of the Gurus of the Himalayan Tradition, HYMC Noida celebrated its Annual Day on 10th February 2015. The Centre has been very graciously blessed by the divine presence of Swami Veda Bharatiji in 2012, and since then, has been an abode of peace and learning under the grace of our beloved Guru.

Programme

Deep Prajjwalan

The celebration commenced with Deep Prajjwalan (Lighting of lamp) by Swami Prashaant Bharatiji. Our heartfelt gratitude to Swamiji for representing the tradition and gracing the occasion with his presence. Deep Prajjwalan was followed by ShankhDhwani (Conch blowing) marking an auspicious beginning to the event.

Blessings by Swami Veda Bharatiji

The program commenced with the narration of the kind blessings given to the Centre by Swami Veda Bharatiji:

‘I will send a mental prayer for the beautiful event that you will be organising. I pray that all members make progress towards Enlightenment and Liberation. I send you my blessings on the occasion of the anniversary of your center on 10th feb.’

It is indeed a gesture of immense love by Swamiji to have taken the pains of writing to us. We express our deepest gratitude to you Swamiji and are ever so indebted to you for the Love you always bestow on us.

Introduction to Himalayan Tradition

The blessings were followed by a short introductory talk on the Himalayan Tradition by Rabindra Sahu, giving an overview of the tradition to the new Centre members.

Screening of video ‘Tat Tvam Asi’

The talk was succeeded by the screening of a very special video of Swami VedaBharatiji, titled ‘Tat Tvam Asi’. It’s a beautiful autobiography of Swamiji about his own Quest for finding the answer to ‘Who am I’. His video inspired all of us present there and rekindled in our hearts, the yearning to go within.

Meditation with Swami Prashaant Bharatiji

As the video came to an end, Swami Prashaant Bharatiji led us into meditation which absorbed us all into a state of Silence: the Silence of Swami Veda, as he explained. The program concluded with Kirtan, MangalaAarti and Prasad

The second day, 11th of February, commenced with two initiations by Swami Prashaant Bharatiji. We could all feel the divine fragrance of presence the Gurus had left behind post initiations and took the opportunity to sit in Silence and absorb the energies. Mantra Deekshas were followed by two meditations, morning and evening and personal interaction with Swamiji.

Keeping aside the perfect, undisturbed flow of events by the grace of the Gurus, there was something absolutely unique about these two days, something most of us present there had never experienced before. Somehow, time had slowed down. There was an air of stillness. No rush, only silence. Absolute Silence.

What else could it be, but the Silence of Swami Veda Bharatiji himself reaching us through Swami Prashaant Bharatiji?

It’s a thought best left to contemplate on.

As always, words fall short and fail again to be the best medium for expressing gratitude. In yet another humble and imperfect attempt, we thank you Swami Veda Bharatiji, from the depths of our hearts for your Grace, without which this celebration would not have been possible.

At His Lotus Feet,

HYMC Noida
