“Japa is mental recitation, or better still, the remembrance of a mantra which gradually awakens energy vibrations in the mind field.” – Swami Veda Bharati
The sages of the Himalayan Tradition continue to call to us gently, insistently – their voices resonating within in moments of silence and stillness. Bowing to their benevolent presence in our lives, we heed their call moving with loving intent towards their outstretched arms, whether in sitting by ourselves in daily sadhana or gathering in joyous connection as initiates.
With the Grace of beloved Swami Veda and blessings of Swami Ritavan, there has arisen an opportunity to lovingly invite you to such a gathering where the teachings of the Tradition will be brought forth. Shri Rabindra Sahu has graciously accepted to speak on Japa as a Means of Deepening Sadhana.
The AHYMSIN Sangha has been recently initiated into Ganesha-Gayatri Mantra practice for one year making this is an opportune time for us to understand the importance of japa in sadhana and receive guidance on the practice of japa: how to incorporate japa into one’s daily sadhana, the several ways of practicing japa, the four phases of japa practice, deepening practice of japa and the effects of regular japa.
