Svanta Sukaya, Because it Gives Me Satisfaction

10 May, 2010 @ 3:30 pm

Through the space, through the walls of the stable flows the breeze of the divine energy which becomes your breath. This divine energy passes through you, as it enters you, as it leaves you. Inhaling and exhaling feeling the flow and the touch of your breaths in your nostrils and the divine name, your mantra flowing as a soft sound along with the feel of your breath in the nostrils. Without a break between your breaths, without a break in the flow of the thought of the divine name.

Marks of Spiritual Progress

1 March, 2010 @ 6:14 pm

Yoga is not merely a matter of learning a system or a technique; it is something in which your whole personality is reconstituted. A meditation that is an escape from life's problems is not meditation.  A meditation that solves life's problems by itself, a meditation that is not self-centered, is the true meditation — self-aware yet not self-centered. The non-self-centered meditation has certain features to it.  It is dedicated entirely to the will of God, and to the grace of the guru lineage.

1 March, 2010 @ 5:35 pm

28 February, 2010 @ 8:59 pm

Akhanda: Undivided, indivisible, that which is not constituted of parts ever remains one, whole and complete.  By the invocation of which, by the presence of which within us all divisiveness and delusion of our minds and spiritual forces recover and discover our own interior indivisibility and rediscover that we are made of objects for a part of which we identify ourselves are not the parts of the one, undivided, indivisible, spiritual essence.

Children’s Spiritual Training

19 February, 2010 @ 4:39 pm

Nowadays, in all cultures, there is an increasing anxiety about the lack of discipline and loss of non-violent values in the society, especially among the youths. This is equally true of India. In spite of tremendous amount of funds allocated for preventing drug addiction in both the developed and “developing” countries, the problem of addiction keeps increasing. However much the Indian national pride may deny the epidemiology of aids, this has become a fact of life.
