The Annual 40-Day Spiritual Festival
11 April, 2016 @ 5:19 pm
“We are all here for a purpose; it is an on-going spiritual process. We are all here for spiritual liberation and serving that mission. For that purpose we are purifying ourselves of our pride and ego. For these reasons we train ourselves in constant self-observation: to see oneself, to hear oneself to develop this internal dialogue. I have used one criterion for all my thoughts, my words, and my actions: ‘Is this conducive to spiritual liberation.’” – Swami Veda Bharati
Why full moon meditation is given so much importance?

"When all sit together at the same time even in different parts of the world, they connect to the Universal Guru mind and generate a strong field, like so many magnets being joined together and forming a much stronger magnet; the strength of each then equals the combined strength of all."
The Search for Eternal Truth
6 March, 2016 @ 12:45 am
"Who am I?" Have you ever asked yourself that question? I started asking myself this question since Kindergarten. "Why is my name Amy? Why can't I be called Coco, Candy or Round, or Square? Why can't I see myself? Why can I see everyone else but only able to see my reflection in the mirror? What would I do after I die? Where should I go?” These are the questions I ask myself in those sleepless nights of my childhood, as I gaze into the darkness.
Love
6 March, 2016 @ 12:42 am
Love is radiance, love is the perfume of your self-knowledge, love is the essence of your existence. Love is a state of consciousness. Love only GIVES, demands nothing. Love is flooding LIGHT into darkness. Love is overflowing joy. Love is born when you have glimpsed who you are. And then there is nothing left than to share your existance with others. Love is when you realise you are not anything else but Existence itself. If there is true love in you, you feel organic unity with all existence. Love is the manifestation of blessing.
Coming Home
6 March, 2016 @ 12:40 am
As my taxi neared Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama, known as SRSG, the spiritual center that my meditation teacher, Swami Veda Bharati, built, I felt increasingly apprehensive. I was involved with this place from before it was built. I was at one of the initial planning meetings. Over the years, I’ve spent many months here engaged in spiritual practice. This was the first time I’d visited SRSG since Swami Veda left his body last July. “How will it be without him there? Will I feel terrible?” These thoughts troubled me as we drove the last short distance before entering the gates of SRSG.
Dr. Mohan Swami´s Address to the Sangha
6 March, 2016 @ 12:36 am
Good evening. Thank you very much for the introduction. I’m quite averse to this kind of situation where I’m pushed to the front, and asked to make speeches – especially after somebody makes a lengthy introduction like this. Thank you anyway.

The Yoga of the Netra Tantra, 20th – 27th October 2016
31 December, 2015 @ 5:46 am
The Netra Tantra is one of the authoritative scriptures of non-dualist Kashmir Shaivism (dated not later than 700 AD) with important sections on Yoga. It is the only Tantra on the third Eye of Shiva, and it is also called Mrityujit or Mrityunjaya, “the Overcomer of Death”, relating to the form of Shiva revealed in it and to his mantra. The commentary by Ksemaraja (early 11th century) is an important help in understanding this profound text and its practice.
