Do the following experiment for just a day or two: Use that great power that is your inherent power-the power called love. Learn to express yourself in such a way that you don’t hurt, injure, or harm others. Learn to give. Often you hurt others merely for the sake of your own selfish ego. Yoga science makes the true meaning of love clear when it describes the practice of (not harming, hurting, or injuring others).

Blood Donation Camp in Honor of Swami Rama’s Birth Centenary Celebrations

In honor of Gurudeva Swami Rama’s life’s work and mission to serving humanity, a blood donation camp was held at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG) recently. As many as 34 selfless family members, including 8 ashram residents, 5 ashram sahayakas, 2 visiting sadhakas, 19 locals who are connected with the ashram. It was a beautiful dedication to the legacy of love and service that our Gurudeva has passed on to us on His birth centenary celebrations.

A Month Full of Mantra at SRSG

February is a short month, but it was a full and enriching month. A three-week retreat “Mantra and Purashcharana” was organised at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama. All participants did purascharana with their personal initiation Guru mantra, that is 125,000 mantras or 1250 malas.
A Garland of Million Mantras: An Ode to Gurudev

In commemoration of the centennial of Gurdev Swami Rama's birth, a Mantra and Purashcharana Retreat convened over 60 initiates from 13 nations for 21 days. During the retreat, a purashcharana of 125,000 guru mantras was offered by each initiate individually, dedicated in the spirit of Guru prityartham—for the pleasure of the guru.

Swami Ritavan Bharati, AHYMSIN’s Spiritual Guide, is now inviting all initiates and students of the Himalayan Tradition to include the Akhanda-mandalakaram mantra into their practices, in loving remembrance and homage to our dear Gurudeva Swami Rama. In his New Year letter to the AHYMSIN Sangha, Swami Ritavan announced that we will celebrate 2025 as the Centennial Year of our beloved Gurudeva, H.H. Swami Rama of the Himalayas.
